The device has a short battery life

  • Update your Flipper Zero to the latest version available in the Release channel.
  • Make sure you use a high-quality branded microSD card, such as SanDisk, Kingston, and Samsung.

    With cheap microSD cards, the device may have an overall current consumption of up to 50 mA, leading to a shorter battery life.

  • If the battery of your Flipper Zero is draining fast, check the current consumption: Main Menu → Settings → Power → Battery Info.

    The consumption shouldn’t be higher than 30 mA.

  • Make sure the Infrared transceiver of your Flipper Zero is inactive when not in use:
    1. Make sure that your Flipper Zero is not running the Infrared app.
    2. Open the Camera app on your smartphone.
    3. Point the camera at the Infrared transceiver of your Flipper Zero.

    4. If you see three transmitting LEDs of your Flipper Zero blinking on your smartphone's screen, it might be a sign of a defective infrared module. In this case, contact Support.
